My daughter has been out of work for awhile. Though she is back in school, she has decided to take up selling at yard sales to make a little spending cash.

We have a lot of stuff lying around the house. The baby has outgrown just about all of his baby clothes and things she bought but never used. While she does give some away to others in need, because she has a baby and needs to, she sells things at church yard sales. For $10-$25 she can make a couple of hundred.

What do you do to make a little extra cash to tide you over?

A good way to make some extra cash is flipping stuff on craigslist. Just search for random low cost products and compare their price to that on ebay to see if it is undervalued. If you find a real bargain you can buy and resell it on craigslist for like $20 more. Don't ever post "OBO" either, set a fixed price and put a bunch of tags, eventually you will get a buyer if the product is in demand.

Jenny,
That sounds like a plan as well. Thanks for sharing!

My neighbor has been unemployed for a while. He actually buys stuff and has yard sales every other week. He makes quite a bit, enough to keep paying the mortgage on his house.
