Lower your calorie intake by finding an eating plan that works for you. Exercise. Leave alcohol, soft drinks, and junk food alone. It will take awhile, but these things taken together work.

Limit your television time.

Hi Randy,

i agree with Connie! You didn't state how old you are (and that's ok), but it's also important to know that losing that middle gets harder as we age.

But to lose it, you need to find the source of the problem - such as eating too much or stress. There are so many resources that can help. It takes some work to lose it and there really is no simple answer but there are things you can do to work at it.

Sparkpeople is a wonderful on-line community that has tracking tools for nutrition and fitness where you can track what you do. The site is free!

There are also some great sites right here on BellaOnline with really good articles that can help too, such as the LowCarb site and healthy food site.

Hi Randy,

As we get older, belly fat is definitely harder to lose. Unfortunately there is no magic formula - teas, foods or pills, that can melt it away other then diet and exercise. So we can offer suggestions on these things, there is no way to make it go away unless you're willing to put in the work and it sounds like you are.

So what are you doing in regards to these things (diet and exercise)?
