Great tips, as always, Bettina.
Antibacterial products are expensive, drying, and over-used. It is proven that regular soap does the job just as well, and it does not destroy your natural bacteria that helps fight off bad bacteria. Being exposed to germs does boost your immune system and makes it stronger to fight off disease on its own.
I use regular soap and water most of the time, with an occasional wash with antibacterial soap or hand wipe. I don't believe in the antibacterial gels that you can use when you don't have water handy. All that does is spread the dirt around on your hands with no way to wash it off. Not for me. I like my plain old soap and water, and thank goodness I am hardly ever sick. The old fashioned way really works if you take the time to wash your hands properly.
