Wow, what a fascinating story, Phyllis. I wonder how this sort of testimony would hold up in court today.

There are a lot of souls who would love to receive justice by testifying against their killers.

It made history as the first documented case where the testimony of a ghost was upheld in court.

Today... I do not think it would work too well... unless someone like Beetle and Granpappy were there to convince the judge. Those two can come up with the most believable stories... by the time they are through concocting a story they can convince anyone about anything.

Great article, Phyllis. A bit sad too for that poor young woman. Looks like she got her justice, though. The spirits of the deceased do live on and they visit when they see fit.

I do think Granpappy and Beetle could convince anyone of anything. They do have the most colorful stories to tell.....
