I'm wondering how many shows he plans to have.

He has Hell's Kitchen, Masterchef, the other show about the restaurants, I can't remember the name of that one. Now he has a new show called Motel Hell, I think. While I love Hell's kitchen, there is only so much of his swearing I can live with.

I'm not sure why he is branching out to motel's now. What do you think? Too much Ramsey?

I caught the series premiere tonight. I love Gordon Ramsey and he completely delivered with this show. I must admit I watch Masterchef but I don't watch Hell's Kitchen so I"m not quite on "Ramsey Overload".

I thought the 1st show was spot on and I was so upset that it was broken into 2 parts! I"m anxiously awaiting to see part 2 when it broadcasts.

Masterchef is great!

Connie, LOL...I totally understand.

I watched the Hotel show once. It was sad at the end when they were started to roll the credits and they said that the hotel still went under because they were unable to pay their bills.

I get a little mad when I think of all of the people who are unemployed and that a show is being produced, all this money spent on revamping a hotel and it closes anyway. I know A has nothing to do with B, but they connect in my mind. smile

I love watching Gordan Ramsey shows. He does not tippy toe around issues, gets straight to the point, and will not tolerate incompetence when it comes to running a good business. I admire that.

Have you seen Hotel Hell, his new show? OMGosssssh!!!! The first show was shocking. What he found in that hotel was sickening.

One thing he does not recommend to honeymooners is to take the special "honeymoon suite" -- you know what goes on there 24/7 year round. One thing Ramsey will be doing is taking a black light on his visits to show viewers some pretty horrifying stuff.

Gordon Ramsay 'Hotel Hell'

My brother, sister and I laughed so hard throughout that whole first show. It is true that Ramsay cusses a lot, but the network bleeped out those words. In one conversation with the owner of the hotel, almost all of Ramsay's conversation was bleeped and we could not stop laughing. It was a great show. laugh

Dianne,

I think that the hotel closed because they were just too much in debt. I actually look at it like he is helping to keep jobs and create new ones when the hotels succeed. Some of those hotels have people who say they haven't been paid in weeks. If the hotel improves as a result of the show, it's a good thing for the employees.

That is an excellent "another" way to look at it. Keeping it positive. I actually like that! :-)

I just saw that he has yet another show that's been on for years, Kitchen Nightmares. Has anyone ever seen it? I watched the season premiere from this year and it looked just like one of his other shows...I forgot the name.

I occasionally catch Kitchen Nightmares. He visited a town nearby to help a restaurant that has been around for decades, almost an icon. It was revealing. Had no idea about all the internal troubles. I've also never visited so now my interest is piqued.

I am a Ramsey fan.

Lori,

I'm definitely a Ramsey fan too. I love how he "tells it how it is" at first and then gets all mushy and helpful at the end.

LOL. Interesting for sure.

From his poverty background, soccer dreams, accident and his arrest for indecent something or other with another man...yikes.

I've seen his wife and children on one of his shows, too. He raises livestock in his backyard, too. Turkeys, sheep, pigs. They all go to slaughter and his kids are so used to that, they don't mind one bit, but Gordon actually tears up!

I really like that man.

First it is Gordon Ramsay. I love that man! I watch every of his shows. Last year I even found some on Youtube that I did not know existed. Hell's Kitchen has a new season coming up next month and hopefully Master Chef too will come back. Last season of Kitchen Nightmares was really short sadly.
