Today I'm greateful for having had an amazing weekend with my family. We were picking apricots and plums off the trees in our backyard. Our one-year-old was having a blast too, running around and clenching the fruit in her hands. She loved eating it too.

For the many people who volunteer and work for low wages with kids. I am taking my two girls up to the mountains today for their first sleep-away camp experience. My boys return tonight from a 10-day mission work-camp in another state. I am grateful for the many, many adults who freely give their time to kids and make their lives so full and interesting.

I am grateful for the realization that I can give unconditional love.

(side note): My 3 year old wants to know if Jilly is a pirate (smiles, giggle, smiles abundant).
