I love outlet mall shopping! I used to love Potomac Mills, here in Northern Va, but even though the name says outlet, I find them anything but.

Thanks for the article!

I've been to a number of the Mills malls, Potomac, Sawgrass near Fort Lauderdale, Franklin Mills near Philly and Concord Mills near Charlotte. They seem to have started as outlet malls, but have morphed into regular malls. You definitely need good shoes to visit those places, though.

Potomac Mills was the first place I saw a Books-A-Million. I also love the Five Below store.

We have a Tanger here in Charleston and it's only about 1.5 hours to Myrtle beach where there are two more. Unfortunately, there aren't as many book stores as there used to be. frown

The Books-a-Million is awesome. I love the clearance tables in the front of the store and the $1 book cart.

They have definitely morphed. In fact when Old Navy was "closing down" I asked the store manager why, they said it was because they were becoming a regular Old Navy and would no longer be an outlet.

JC Penney's also closed down and has opened up again as a pretty high fashion looking store.

I like the Shops at Leesburg too.
