There are so many different definitions and interpretations of what it means to be spiritual. What is yours?

I experience spirituality as a sense of flow state, a Satori.

Spirituality is a state that exists within. It is your personal relationship with God/Allah/Self. It is being able to hear that inner voice that lovingly helps you make wiser, loving, saner, confident decisions. The voice that keeps you calm, balanced, and harmonic with the earth.

It is a sense of knowing and loving that is almost unexplainable.

I agree with everyone's interpretations. In addition, being spiritual for me is being at peace with my inner being, feeling the calm spirit within taking over my physical body. Spirituality also incorporates being in harmony regarding my relationships with my God and creator, the Great Mother goddess, nature itself, and also my relationships with those whom I love.

I think that spirituality is a myth. There is no such thing.

You say these things to get people to prove you wrong and you really do want them to prove you wrong.

This says to me that somewhere deep inside of you, you know that this is real, but you have been told it is not.

Unless we use sterner methods of brainwashing to make you attach to a new train of thought, we can not undo your old thinking, but you can.

You want this. You want this connection to people, to spirits, to spirituality.

Spirituality exists in the belief systems of many people, and it can exist for you too, if you want it. We all have a spirit that you can either embrace or deny. You just have to open your mind to the possibility of it and let positive and inspiring energy enter you. Spirituality is not about religion exclusively, but can include religion if you want it to. Spirituality is very personal and different for each of us. If you don't want to be spiritual that is certainly your choice to deny a part of yourself, and you'd be essentially shutting out experiences that can bring you peace and happiness. How to achieve it is up to you.....as to what brings joy and tranquility into your life and into your heart, what your purpose is while you are here, and what you will learn along the way.

Spirituality to me is the connection with God.
