In the past, I have made my own bread. I baked French baguettes, tomato basil loaves, cheese bread, egg bread and even sourdough with starter yeast from San Francisco. My whole wheat loaf looked beautiful but was heavier than an anchor!
I don't bake bread as often now because of the weather and because I really shouldn't be eating a lot of bread now for health reasons.
Baking bread is so fulfilling. I miss it.
