Loved your article. Yes, it is *absolutely* (and I say absolutely with caution usually) to connect with the spirit of a deceased loved one. I know from my own personal experiences.

After my father, grandmother and son died, I have visited with them here on the earth plane many times. They come to me and I can sense, hear and see them. I have the "clairs" (clairaudience, clairsentience, etc.) but of course, since they in spirit have no bodies, I cannot feel them with my physical hands.

When my son first died, he used to come to see me quite often but does so less frequently as he has his own work to do on the other side. Plus, he enjoys playing with other spirit children.

I could share with you some of those visits:

As I cried, suddenly I saw my father and son standing in front of me. My dad was holding onto my son's hand. He said, "Don't be sad. It makes him sad."

Another time, I was standing in the bathroom, blow drying my hair and I felt my son scamper in to watch. I said to him, "Hi baby. I love you so much. I love when you come to see me. Why don't you go and see daddy to say hello? He would love that."

And my son said, "He's too sad to hear me."

Oh, and there are more, more, more visits to share but I don't want to bore anyone.

Just know that it is true: You absolutely can connect with your deceased loves ones. In fact, although it can be hard for them to do so, they do like to return to visit us. They are glad when we think of them with love.

I also talked to a medium who confirmed everything in addition to telling me more from my father. But the minute I hung up the phone, I saw him there and he said, "Don't pay those people anymore. If I want to tell you something, I'll come and talk directly to you."

LOL. That was just like him.

It is amazing what spirits can do. I think believing in them makes it easier for them to visit us, because it can be hard for them to reach us in the physical realm. And yes, they do like it when we think of them with love. The loving bond is what keeps them close to us.

I loved your article. It was awesome. It is possible to connect with the spirits of deceased loved one. But I haven�t tried to connect with my loved one. I really your story that your deceased boyfriend is still with you and help you, whenever you are in need. You are right, LOVE NEVER DIES.

As mentioned in the 'Dreams' forum I visited my Dad in the Otherworld after he died three times. The first time he was at a Golf Hotel type complex, the second time he was staying with his parents while he attended a course on how things worked on that plane. Finally he moved out an moved to a house on a long road that faded into the more refined Astral planes if you looked one way, and condensed into the more substantial Astral/Etheric ones the other.

The funniest bit - for me- was meeting my paternal grandparents who refused to believe they were dead!

Yeah! for your grandparents, Ian. I truly admire them, for their is no death for the spirit, only other worlds.

Thank you, Jennie. Love does transcend different realms and different dimensions. I never would have believed it a few years ago, but I have learned a great deal from other people's experiences, as well as my own most recently. Developing my own spirituality has helped me to connect with my dear boyfriend in the spirit world.

It is a comfort to know that the spirit of a loved one lives on and is free of pain and suffering. In more than one of my dreams I have asked my boyfriend how he was feeling, and he said he felt great. That makes me happy knowing that he is feeling so good, after suffering every day without complaint in the physical world.

For once in my life I do not fear death, because I know I will be reunited with my dear love again some day.

Ian.....thank you so much for sharing those stories with us. That is great. Your Dad and grandparents sound like wonderful people, and I love your grandparents' attitude. They all must be having a heck of a good time in the spirit world.

As a side note, I have to tell you that no, the horse situation is not taken care of today. It seems to be the nightmare that won't go away. I am hoping now for a resolution on Tuesday. I am losing sleep over this and I have lost 4 pounds in a week. Perhaps when this is done I will start a new thread here describing what happened and how it has affected my spirit.

This meant that they still lived in an astral replica of the same house they had lived in during the 1970's with individual rooms heated with gas or real fires and cold hallway in between.

I did try to show them they could live whatever type of house they wanted, and tried to show them how they could reshape their home. But it always popped back into the form they thought it 'had always been' in a few seconds due to the persistent pressure of their beliefs. A bit like trying to build a sandcastle on the beach when the tide's coming in.

Dad saw the funny side though

I totally get that. In fact, many spirits of the deceased do not realize they are dead. Especially if they left their bodies abruptly, they can't tell the difference because they still see their etheric bodies that look just like their physical bodies.

My husband woke up one night shocked to see his deceased brother sitting on the foot of our bed. His brother was holding the side of his mouth saying that it hurt. My husband said, "What are you doing here? You're dead." His brother looked at him and said, "No, I'm not. I just had to go away for a while."

My husband woke me up, quite shaken, and we talked about it. It didn't surprise me, but this was one of the first times my husband had encountered a spirit during waking life.

Sometimes, the deceased don't want to cross over completely either. They liked their earth incarnations and wish to continue experiencing them. They might even recognize that they are in spirit form and they have fun with that, scaring people or peeping in on them. I think it's entirely rude.

We have a lot of creative power with the energy vibrations we emit and we continue to do so on the other side.




Yes, that is because of what they're minds are creating as far as energy vibrations. They see what they wish to see.

Hell is created that way, too.

Fortunately it does have its' positive uses . Especially if you work on enhancing your skills

Ian.....I've read that deceased spirits can recreate their own homes in the spirit world if their homes were a source of great comfort to them while they were in the physical realm.

That your grandparents both refuse to believe they are dead is a testament to how "alive" spirits really are. Funny that your Dad could see what they were doing too and got a little chuckle out of it.

Indeed some spirits are still physically alive as far as they are aware. Sometimes when a person dies suddenly, either by an accident or by a violent end, the spirit does not yet know they have left the physical realm. And as you said, some spirits just don't want to let go of their physical entities.

Oh, it's good to have this forum to discuss things of this matter, Debbie.

I have the ability to sense and communicate with the spirits of deceased people who aren't related to me, too. Someone who shall remain nameless had a father who committed suicide earlier this year. There have been a few occasions when I can see and hear him. He watches over his daughter whom he loves very, very much. He doesn't say much and he is very polite and respectful to me. Life just got too emotionally hard for him.

For the year after my mother died, I felt her spirit guiding me. She must have figured out that I would be okay, or maybe it was my older sister dying less than two years later. Mama doesn't hang around any more, but I miss her tremendously.

My sweetheart has been a little quiet of late. I have been under a lot of stress lately and that could be a block to him visiting. My sleep quality has not been all that good, and I know I need enough good quality sleep to get into my dream state. I have been trying hard to connect with him again. I did finally have a dream of him early this morning, but it was a dream of my own making, which does happen. I know the difference between my mind making up a dream and my boyfriend actually visiting. My made up dreams are usually a bit foggy and odd, but when he actually visits me my dreams are very clear and feel more real. They are to the point and often address what I have asked for while I was awake.

It has been almost 7 months since his passing (which I can hardly believe). I don't know how long the visits from him will last, but I cherish every moment he is with me. I still talk with him every day and I think he hears me. Even if our loved ones don't make their presence known, I think they watch over us and are interested in what goes on in our lives.

My Dad meanwhile, although he didn't believe in existence after death, did at least listen to what I said about the "post mortality experience" He also had a very good memory so was able to work out what had happened and reorient himself appropriately. This is why he felt he had to to a course on 'things to do now you're dead'.

People want to think they are in touch with their deceased relatives. I doubt that it has ever happened.

I've had many visitors. I've informed loved ones of the messages being sent for them. Most people appreciate it, but a few do not.

Some people still think that any such connection is evil and others will call everyday hoping for more messages instead of opening their own line of communication.
