Sentai Filmworks announced that the company's upcoming Blu-ray release of Persona 4 The Animation television anime series will include an English language dub but will not include the original Japanese language track. However, the DVD will still include both the English and Japanese audio tracks, and will also include Japanese episode commentaries. The Blu-ray has been repriced from US$69.89 to US$59.98 to reflect the change.
In addition, Sentai added that their release of the series is only licensed for sale and use in the United States and Canada, and that exportation of the release is prohibited.
Persona 4 Collection 1 is scheduled to be released on DVD and Blu-ray Disc on September 18, 2012.
