I read someplace that the Torah is the first 5 chapters of the old Testament. Is the Torah the same as the first 5 chapters of the Bible? In other words, if I read the first five chapters of my Bible will I get a good understanding of the origins of Judaism? Thank you! PS. I hope I'm not being a pest. And I don't need answers immediately.
