Olympics!

The 2012 Summer Olympics kicked off in London last Friday with what I thought was an amazing opening ceremony. So far the competition has been fierce, but mostly controversy free. I've watched cycling, volley ball (Beach and standard), gymnastics and swimming so far. I think the swimming has been most exciting to me.

How about you. What are you watching?

Well it very well cant be the Olympics without a little controversy & drama now, can it? LOL :-)

Well, there's definitely some controversy now. Have you heard about Women's Badminton? Eight players kicked out of the Olympics for trying to lose. It's very sad.

I just read that, I initially thought I misread the headline --"trying to lose" just doesnt make sense in the Olympics! I'm glad that this was discovered & that they were given the boot, but yes -- truly a shame & disgraceful :-(
