What do you do on a regular basis to bring yourself in touch with your spiritual self, your inner being? Is it meditative, reflective, religious, social, or nature based? All of the these?
A few things I do for myself to get in touch with my spirit are: being out in nature, meditating, praying, reading, listening to music, gardening, and attending church services. Talking with my best friend about some private things also helps me gain perspective about who I am.
Please share a few of your activities.

Hi Debbie,
My hike to and back from Double Lake this morning is illustrative of my regular non-routine routine in experiencing my inner essence:
Viewing and appreciating the wild jasmine, milkweed, water lillies, insects galore-especially multiple species of beetles and dragonflies, plus seeing and/or hearing over 20 species of birds, including some that I have not seen in a long while like a black-necked stilt, great blue herons, black-crowned night herons, a neotropic cormorant, white-collared seedeaters and gold finches. Even (or especially?) walking/frolicking through the mud and not worrying about the effect it was having on my shoes.
