Hi all I am about to start machine quilting a bright french braid quilt with some butterflies appliqued on it and charcoal butterfly print on the boarders ......and I have no idea how I am going to do it i.e. style etc. anyone have some ideas I could use please Cheers Gammy = Deb

Gammy, I have seen this pattern several times but never knew the name of it. Thanks for enlightening me.

I think I would carry through on the butterfly theme and quilt a border design with butterflies and/or flowers down each column. Or, if I decided to go an easier route I would simply make some oval shapes down each column. Either way, I would maintain the column design of the pattern.
