Friday I got the mexican hat flower tattoo...now I am trying to decide to keep going up or go down and get my foot done. I just can't decide what to do about my knee! I think it will look weird if there is a big hole there in the tattoo.

Maybe put some feathery greenery that connects some flowers, so that it doesn't just look like a naked knee.

That's a good idea Connie! I have another appointment next month. My tattoo artist just opened his own shop so I will get to see his new space. He is so talented...I will post some more photos so you can see all of it.

Thanks everyone! I love it...I decided the next one will go on my foot...it is a petunia and a hummingbird moth. When I was a kid we had honeysuckle bushes and the hummingbird moths would be there all summer. Most of the flowers have a special meaning to me!

LOL I know Rae! My sister has one on her foot and told me childbirth was more painful....she told me u are tough...u can handle it lol. My husband says I will be sorry!

Well no tattoo, I got a sinus infection the day before my visit. A week later and I am still sick. So my husband got a tattoo instead

It's always good to put off getting tattooed if you are sick. Having your immune system be down can add all sorts of complications to other healing issues.

Wow, that's a gorgeous tattoo! If you want to go up, you can have other flowers or related designs on your thigh and just have a vine or something that goes over your knee so it's not a hole, it's a connector.
I think the feet would be cooler! Although, as Rae and others have said, the foot area can be one of the most painful tattoo areas. But it really depends on your pain tolerance.
