BellaOnline Forums Education Astronomy Non-planet has at least five moons!

News today from the Hubble Space Telescope. A fifth moon has been discovered orbiting Pluto. There's Charon, tiny Nix and Hydra and a new little one last year - it hasn't been given a proper name yet, it's just called P4. I suppose the new one will be P5.

Well, must dash. I have some corrections to make.

The newly-discovered moon is tiny and very close to Pluto. It looks like the New Horizons mission is going to find quite a lot of interesting things when it gets into the neighborhood in three years time.
