Anime News Network is reporting that that the upcoming Dragon Ball anime film will be set between the 517th and 518th installments of Akira Toriyama's manga. It is specifically set during the "lost decade" of the storyline after the end of the battle with Majin Buu. Apparently, some of the characters set to appear in the film include Kuririn, Piccolo, and Vegeta.

It's also being reported that Akira Toriyama has been deeply involved in the film's production from the early screenwriting stages.
