Cherokee Little Ones Celebrate Mud Day

It does not seem long ago that I had a mud puddle friend to play with in the mud. We had so much fun.

Our temps have been climbing higher every day. I asked our apartment complex manager if we could have a mud day under the cool water of the sprinklers.....for the kids, of course.

He is thinking about it.

Well, I do have my cut-offs and tank top on for when it is time to go stompin". I mean....well, someone has to help the little ones and show them how to do it right, right?

That's right! Forget the galoshes & let the mud s-q-u-i-s-h up between the toes. Besides, Granpappy told me he could curl his toes & grasp a clump of mud to toss at innocent bystanders - not having any dirty fingers as evidence.

Stomping makes a nice symetrical fragmentation pattern that leaves the initiator clean but the surrounding victims... well, you get my description.
