If you passed by a short girl, do you think her is lovely in your first impression?

I'm not fond of short hair. I think a cute bob is the shortest that looks good on someone, and i don't like pixie or short layered cuts at all. Although there are a few women who can pull off short hair, i can't think but wonder if they would be cuter if their hair was longer.

A few women I've met look stunning with very short hair. However, I always wonder if longer hair on some would look better. I especially despair of seeing most older women--50-60 and up--who consistently have short hair! To me, that is a sign of advancing years. I've decided to keep mine no shorter than shoulder-length, and everyone thinks I'm way younger looking! Awesome! (I'll have my photo posted eventually....!)

I agree about 'old lady hair' - i don't understand it. Is there a reason for that style? Will i feel a need to switch to it in a few years?

I've never thought of short hair being old lady hair or a sign of advancing years. I've always kept my hair short, shorter on top, almost to the shoulders in the back ( I hate the feel of hair on my neck)...always get it cut when it's longer then that. As a mom and a busy woman, it's always been easiest for me. At the age of 50, I've never thought of keeping my hair short as a sign of my advancing age, just a matter of preference.

I've seen woman with very short hair who look absolutely stunning. Women who have lost most of their hair to cancer have done amazing things with their looks, scarves...etc...

Some people really have amazing facial bone structure that very short hair frames well. Every year on America's Top Model someone gets the dreaded buzz cut. And they are able to model through it (after crying about it), and take great photos, but most i do think would still be cuter with more hair.

I guess I like 'cute' more than stunning.

I think medium to long hair is just youthful looking. Short hair seems either mature, or severe, or i guess i am simply biased for some reason. IDK. A cute bob is about as short as I could ever go.

At my day job I keep seeing women get up into their late 40's or early 50's and then they go for shorter hair. It really does take a few years off most of the time. I cut my hair into a bob once just for something different, and then grew it back out.
Short hair really does look amazing on some women. I just don't see myself as one who would have short hair (and I am not sure I have the face to pull it off).

Everyone has their preferences and that is really cool!

I like hair longer on men too - like viking hair, or Aragorn hair from Lord of the Rings. But so few men have that hair (except Fabio, of course)...
