Viz Media has announced that the company will be launching Neon Alley, a 24-hour anime service on a major game console, in Fall 2012 in the United States and Canada. The exact game console will be announced at a later date.

The service will show uncut anime with English dubs in HD when HD is available. The service will host the English dub premieres for Tiger & Bunny, Inuyasha: The Final Act, Zetman, Lagrange - The Flower of Rin-ne, as well as new episodes of Naruto Shippuden. The service will also show anime films, as well as original content with news and behind-the-scenes information on anime and manga.

Neon Alley is a subscription-based service, which will cost US$6.99 per month.

Viz Media announced at San Diego Comic-Con that Neon Alley will be available on the Sony PlayStation 3 console. The company also said that it has no news at this regarding an Xbox 360 version.

Viz also revealed that new users to the service will receive a free one-week trial.
