I have got psychic readings from Meryem. She is my favorite psychic medium. Her predictions are always accurate. Her predictions had actually happened with me.

I want to visit a medium at some point when I can afford it. I know of a few that come well recommended.

You should go to get psychic readings once. It would be interesting.

I have not heard anything negative about mediums, but only about good experiences from a few people I know who have gone to them. I am sure there are fakes out there, but the people I know said that their mediums were spot on with the truth. I recently had a conversation with a very religious person about mediums, and she believes that what mediums do is open the door to evil.

What do you all think of that view? Have any of you heard anything to substantiate this?

Ya, i agree, Of those thousands of psychics all over the world merely 10% are able to make accurate predictions.

My Wife and I went to a display of mediumship at our local sports centre because my wife wanted to see if there was anyone wanting to get in contact with her. There was no-one for her,but my Dad came through. Not only was there good evidence that it was him, but the medium had to obviously transcend his own personal beliefs and rely on his training to deliver part of the communication.

The evidence of a good medium is when you don't tell them very much or anything at all, and they bring forth information that is very unique and could only have come from the other side.

This is true. We did go to an open day at a Spiritualist Church in a nearby town the other year and were not impressed. The person giving the messages was obviously using leading questions and cold reading techniques. Also the philosophical angle was very 'trite'.

Actually I'd completely forgotten about the visit until we passed it yesterday on the way to the shops to stock up on food after being on holiday and we passed the church. I thought I must mention this for balance and to show that you do have to visit several places, even those that practice the same system, to find one right for you.

I disagree w/this religious person...

I recently had a dream won't go into all the details but I was met by/a religious person that pulled out a black bible and started to quote scripture.

In the dream I approached them as a human being w/simple questions and they continued to recite scriptures and raise their voice talking over me.

Mediumship as well as intuition, the Family of intuition, meaning telepathy, dream communitcation, etc., angels, we all come equipt w/those abilities. It's what we do with them that makes them evil and with whom we "tinker" with.

In the dream I slammed my hand on the counter and said, "You can quote all the scriptures you want, but reciting scripture v.s. living lovingly, selflessly and nonjudgementally is what makes the difference!"

I'd go head-to-head w/religion on this matter any day and we were raised Roman Catholic.
