Communication is the key for the visually impaired interacting with the sighted. Just the other day a very nice lady try to help me by telling me the place I was going was three living rooms away. How do I measure the distance of three living rooms? She was very nice and I thanked her for her help.
Even if someone provides information that is not helpful, I always try to remember that they cared enough to try.
