Favorite track, at least it will be again after the changes, Bristol! My hubby and I were at the race that involved Rusty Wallace hitting Dale Sr. in the nose with a water bottle. I miss the Riverside track. It was a road course with a huge sweeping right turn heading into the finish. Awesome track...should have never been taken away.

Hi! Sounds like you've been a NASCAR fan for quite some time. That is so cool. I just love it! I'm a huge sports fan anyway, but I've really taken great interest in NASCAR. I hope you enjoy the posts and everything going forward. I'm new here. smile

Thanks for the conversation. Hope to get involved more as I go along, too.

Deb smile

I've been a NASCAR and racing fan in general for decades. My Father and Grandfather ran a dirt track for a short time in AZ. As an adult, I began watching and going to races in the mid 70's. In the late 70's early 80's my now ex-hubby and I were involved with local tracks and racing. I've been to Bristol, Charlotte, Phoenix, and the now defunct tracks at Riverside and Ontario California. I've been fortunate enough to meet drivers like Bobby and Davey Allison, Neil Bonnet, Cale Yarborough, Richard Petty, Michael Waltrip, Ken Schrader and my favorite...Rusty Wallace! I like most auto racing including ARCA,NHRA,ADRL,Formula One and Indy cars.
