What do you think about the new trend of using no shampoo (no poo), or only using conditioner (co-poo)? I am intrigued.

I've been experimenting a little and the no poo thing isn't great, but workable. After the first week your hair calms down.
If you read the label on conditioners, there are surfactants in them. That's a type of cleanser.

I was no-poo for years and really like it. Right now I'm using shampoo because I'm reviewing it. Which no-poo methods are you trying? For me, what works best is baking soda/acv. I've infused my ACV with lavender and dilute 1/4 ACV/Water
For the gym, my preference is shampoo bars. They are really convenient and low waste. Generally just wrapped in paper. The ones I get are locally made, but there is an Etsy seller who makes really nice ones that I like too.

I always wash my hair when I take my shower which is every night before going to bed.
