Nature spirits are all around us. They left and went back to their own realm because we did not believe in them when we grew up.

They care about Mother Earth and we need to work with them to help Mother Earth, the plants, animals, the faery and ourselves survive. Too many things, animals and plants, have become extinct because humanity has taken too much from Mother Earth.

It is time, long past time, that we give back and let Mother Earth heal.

After finding two faery rings close to my home, I can honestly say I still believe in the faery folk.

I do I've read enough reliable accounts, and spoken to people who have seen them when they were is the Isle of Man. I hope to see them there when I take a special trip.

Ian, have you ever read Celtic Twilight? It is wonderful little book full of accounts and stories passed down from the peasant peoples of Ireland.

Some of the most convincing written accounts I have come across are in books by Alistair Crowley, and the Ritual Mage E. A. St George's " The casebook of a Working Occultist "

Celtic Twilight by William B. Yeats - very enjoyable to read. I felt like I was sitting with him by a fireplace and having a conversation with him. I think you will like it, Ian.

The little mountain behind my cottage has what looks like faery knolls all along the range. The one closest to me is where I found a faery ring about half way up the knoll. It is a delightful place to be....to just sit on a rock and read or let my thoughts wander into other realms.

I agree, Phyllis. Mother Earth does need to heal. She has lost so much to selfishness, disrespect, and neglect. We owe Her so much better than this after all the beauty She has given us to appreciate and enjoy.

Most Nature Spirits are good and pure. Some are not so good towards humans. There are so many kin in the realm of faery, all sizes and shapes, some in human form, some monstrous, some have wings and fly, some have no wings and float, or think themselves to where they want to be. Yet they all care for Mother Earth.
