Mothers Day 2012 has come and gone and I wonder what "quilty" stuff you received? I received a full body massage (that's quilty because it relieves my aches and pains from quilting too much) and a great quilting book.

Tell us what you received for Mothers Day.
Cheerio for now

I received, 2 gift cards for Connecting Threads.com, an online quilting shop, and one from Joann's another shop that I can buy online. Love it.

I received a lilac bush so when it is in bloom I'll be able to smell my favorite fragrance while I work!

34 years ago my mother gave me a lilac bush for Mother's Day ~ my first child (a daughter) was due in June that year. I still have it and was able to give my daughter a start from that lilac bush when she was pregnant for her first child 25 years later. Good memories!

I rarely (if ever) have received an actual gift for Mother's Day. Usually my family has done something for me - a service project kind of day.

Last fall my husband and I moved into a house on a lot that has no landscaping. For Mother's Day we purchased and planted 2 trees in memory of our mothers. We will do the same thing for Father's Day. We will therefore continue to be grateful for what our parents do for us.
