I have visited the site. When you think of Stirling Castle as well - magnificent in the sunlight when it glowed gold in color - it is awesome.

I like the word "magnificent" for Stirling Castle Angie. Another word I might use is imposing. It is a Castle with a long and eventful history, no doubt in part due to the strategic location.
