What are your memories of summer camp?

If your child is in a gen ed classroom and interacts well with other kids, then sending him off to camp with the neighborhood kids is probably a good choice. If your child needs a lot of support on a continuing basis, the folks at special needs camps know how to make the experience fun for children who do better with individualized programs.

Do your research and choose the best place for your child to build those lovely summer memories.

Would somebody remind me next February to write a new summer camp article? There are still openings at some camps, but many are full.
