Yesterday and today are cloudy with a shower off and on. I am longing for the sun to come out because I have had a bit of a rough time emotionally lately, and the sun always makes me feel more alive and balanced. Nature can be so healing. Well, I know we do need the rain for all the lovely trees and other plants, so I will deal with the raindrops that Mother Nature is giving us.

It is a very peaceful place, Debbie. At other times, I sit on the back porch in the F/M forum, making up songs. Seems the ol' rooster got stuck out in the rain.

Is that the reason why his feathers are so ruffled up???

Must be. That otta teach him to take cover afore a storm hits.

That little rooster better watch himself and find shelter. If a tornado suddenly comes in he could be blown clear into next year.

Poor little rooster.

Hi Jilly! Welcome back to the front porch. Phyllis and I were just discussing the weather and a silly little rooster.

How are you doing? Can I get you a hot or cold beverage? I am sure Phyllis has something good going on in the kitchen.

Hi Jilly. You are always most welcome to visit and sit on the front porch. If I am not around, feel free to get what you like in the kitchen. Debbie is a good co-hostess and always ready to offer something good.

I imagine this front porch as huge and enough comfy chairs and lounges with loads of pillows -- so there is always room for all.

If the hounds run up on the porch they will just lie down on one of the braided rugs and not bother anyone. They love to sleep in the shade of the jasmine that grows on the trellis at the end of the porch.

I have a huge imagination, so whatever anyone likes when relaxing and sitting for a spell is here on the front porch.

I love the smell of jasmine. I am so glad that it is growing on the front porch.

I just baked a batch of brownies and they are ready to be served if anyone is interested. I think some hot tea is in order too, but certainly we can make some coffee if someone prefers that.

My horse is itchin for a good ride, so I am on my way over and bringing the brownies in the saddlebags.....
