Hello. My fiancee spent about a year in Italy, quite a few years ago. He found a recipe back then he fell absolutely in love with and has been wanting to make. Unfortunately he cannot remember the recipe too well. I have been looking all over the net trying to find something close to it and looking in all our Italian cook books, so I can make it for him. So far, he has told me it is a pasta sauce consists of tuna, anchovies and some kind of cream (thinks may be made of Mascarpone) and nuts (which he thinks may be pine..not sure). The closest I have found to this is a tuna, anchovy and mascarpone dip. If anyone has any ideas about this pasta recipe, if you could PLEASE help me. Thanks :)

Hi,

that is a good one. I understand why your fiancee was impressed by this recipe, and I love that he likes anchovies! It's actually made with cooking cream, tuna and anchovies blended together over pasta. It's not an easy one to find outside Italian sources (in Italian), so I am writing the recipe and you'll have it posted here tomorrow. smile

Wow! Thank you very very much. I'm sure he'll be very excited when I make it for him unexpectedly. I didn't think I would ever find it. Thank you so much. I will make it and post back on the results.
