To be totally honest with you, I never really paid much attention to a butterfly but due to some very hard decisions I had to make in my personal life have grown to appreciate their beauty while they fly from flower to flower. So ladylike and delicate indeed.

Something as beautiful and simple reminded me of the importance of not staying stuck in "victimville" no matter how impossible it may look to escape. No matter how old or young you may be, make it a priority to guard your insides. Learn how to choose who you allow into your life. Like this butterfly, I am now on a whole NEW chapter of my life and looking forward to what is ahead of me with a smile. Never give up on yourself the way I did!

Jilly.....I am grateful for compassion as well. Issues I thought were resolved at the horse farm came to a head last night, and it seems that I do have to move my horses now, within one week. I am afraid for the safety of my horses in the hands of someone who does not seem to be mentally stable.

I am grateful that an old aquaintance whom I have not talked to in at least a year and a half had compassion, and he will let me bring my horses to his farm. I called him for ideas and I had no idea that he'd invite me to his farm.

So today I am grateful that there is still compassion in this world, and I can sleep better tonight than I did last night. My stomach is still in knots until things are settled, but I think it will be ok in the end.

I am grateful to have a garden in Colorado. There were so many slugs in Washington State it took much of the pleasure away. Now I can walk around barefoot without getting slimed.

Today I am grateful to have food stamps.
