I focused on eye exams for young children in this week's article and decided to continue the discussion in this thread. Diagnosing my eye condition required visiting four different doctors before receiving correct diagnoses. I experienced vision loss in the right eye while trying to locate the right doctor. Partial vision was retained in the left eye.
Do you have an eye doctor visit you would like to share? If so, please post your story. I would like to know your story. Thanks.

I am still having trouble making myself go to my eye appointments. I really have a phobia about the glaucoma test. I even went to the eye dr and got a walk through in advance, where they showed me where i would be sitting and what they would do.

They were very nice about it, but i still have to sit down at one point for feeling nauseous.

I need to make myself do this!
