To all,
I joined this group on march the 8th.I have written over 350 posts in such a such a short time.In Buddhism 3 things keep you from attaining enlightenment.

Fetters.
Without noticing it,I created a craving for this site,giving with all my heart,and taking also from others.

I beleive it is time to stop the craving.

I am going to become an Island again.Learn new knowledge,
reread material growing dust on it ,and you might be surprised but stopping the stress of not being too direct ,too complicated .

I am not closing my account, I'll be back refreshed and maybe softer in my writing style.

Yes, looong, best wishes during your 'retreat'. Just noticed, you joined on my birthday (March 8th:-) I can relate very much to what you say - I find I have to take 'breaks' from my online activities at times. We all need phases of retreat and activity.

And per the Dhammapada quote you put in your last thread, I personally do not read 'become an island' to necessarily mean solitude. I think of it as being so solid in our connection to the dharma that we are like an island in that way, and then when we interact with others, we are always coming from that connection. A tall order!
