Has anyone seen 'Cabin In The Woods'? If so, what did you think about it? I heard it is very violent and gory.

I do not watch Gory movies.

I have heard of it. I orginially wanted to see it when I saw the first trailer, but the more trailers I see, I'm thinking it looks rather violent. I don't mind gore sometimes -I love Halloween and Friday the 13th movies (not all of them - just certain ones), but this does seem like it takes it too a whole new level. I may wait until it comes out on DVD so the gore isn't that big...LOL...

PS: I do not watch gory movies either, that is why I asked about the movie, because a friend asked if I would go see it with her. From what I have heard, no thanks -- I will not see this one.

Dianne, I think I will be better off just sticking with the old Casper cartoons.

Phyllis, I understand. Not every genre is for everybody and we should watch what we enjoy. There are a lot of gory movies I can't watch - like the Saw series.

Hopefully you and your friend can "meet in the middle" and find an enjoyable movie to watch together. Let us know what you end up seeing if you go!

CABIN IN THE WOODS REVIEW

I saw it, I reviewed it LOL - it's not at all gory guys really - it's very tame compared to nearly all films of this decade. It's not very good though despite an awesome cameo at the end.

It's a lot of fun really and very silly, but everything in it has been said before pretty much.
