Dear Jilly,

Buddhism is hard to learn.Lot of changes are made.Anciant Flaxman
just wrote a full buddhist text, without knowing it,maybe he did.
Buddhism changes people so deeply so profoundly. One beleives
that his solutions will be the solutions of others.Remember when I came into the group, very different from today, accepting the fact that on this site, there is no debates allowed, while on Buddhist sites there is a lot of debating going on.
What one discovers in Buddhism.leads him to think he has the truth.Hence the sometimes aggressivity on beleifs, not understanding that ,people do not think like Buddhists.

As I have written in a post on another thread, after the death of the Dalai-Lama,that will mean the disppearing of the Tibet nation.Already 3,000,000 have died or disappeared since 1949.
I am part of the movement "Save Tibet" even if it is not my lineage. So have some compassion for the Buddhists you have known.

With Loving Kindness
loong

I believe we all come here with respect and compassion for Buddists and everyone else. People of all belief systems are welcome here. We have had some interesting discussions on these threads that can be considered debates, and as long as we are here with love and kindness all members are welcome to share their view. Aggression can turn people away from being comfortable to post and that is not the purpose of this forum.

It is important to respect views different than our own, for we are all human beings. There are many ways to live a good life, and these ways are based on many different belief systems. To keep an open mind and to act out of respect is to have consideration for other points of view, even if we choose to stand fast to our own beliefs. On the other side of that, it may be that learning something new may bring value to our lives or may help us in some way.

It's been great reading everyone's posts, and I look forward to many more discussions and the sharing of ideas.

Thank you to Jilly, Deb, and Phyllis for your encouragement. Each voice on here is incredible!! I never dreamed years ago that a group of people could talk in such spiritual depth as we have and be so open about it on a public forum no less!!!! This freedom of expression centuries ago could have brought about a death sentence in some areas of the world and up until about 25 to 30 years ago might just have turned an entire family or community against such "new thought" bearers. This is GOOD stuff guys!!! dave

Down through the ages the great Mother has not been popular with many of the "powers that be." The fact is that in some instances Her followers were killed, on a mass scale, by the "powers that be." I know all about that realm. She tells Her children the truth which upsets the forces of darkness and deception. If she has been allowed in certain circles it is only to give her very limited "lip service", if you will and she is defined in that circumstance as one subservient to the rules of that circle.

The Mother that I know has no concern for the traditions of the day or the "good ole boy club". She does not lie!!!!

Just recently I was looking throught a magazine and saw a picture of a young Tibetan man running down a street in India after lighting himself on fire in protest of the conditions of his people.. He died shortly thereafter.

I went to the great Mother for answers. She does not always answer me as I expect Her to. I stated that this circumstance was horrible and asked why this is continually happening. I approach her in very simple terms as she is not concerned about my flowery rhetoric or the three ring circus that goes on in the mind of man. She is what I would call a "realist." She answers in only bottom line truths if we really want to hear them.

I got my answer.

Many times a situation on the surface which seems very obvious to the masses is not really what is going on at all.
Many times when a culture is oppressed the actual ones doing the oppressing are simply fulfilling the silent thrust of a "hidden" source. Sometimes they may or may not even be aware of who is actually motivating them. It takes some very powerful deceitul spiritual people to pull off such a heist.

Its like this; A is attacking B. A may have a desire to rid themselves of B yet a hidden force behind A may have a greater motivation behind it to elliminate B so it uses A to do their bidding.

B might be totally innocent and just doing their thing but the hidden force behind A has been offended by the mere presence of B and because they wish to stay hidden A takes the heat for the devistation.

There was a time when the great Mother had retreated into the background but people are now not satisfied with believing "authorities" at face value without "testing the spirit" so to speak.. They are becoming enlightened and the forces that would keep them down and ignorant are being exposed. That is why I say over and over again,"go within". What is visible with the natural eye decieves even the very elect. My people have spoken this for five centuries, "Those that are ruled will one day rule." We need to get our head out of our rear. Blessed Be

You have witnessed that which is most heinous, <4> for by far a larger percentage of Lightbearers have come under that persecution in the area of Tibet than in areas similar in size where not so many Lightbearers have embodied.

Blessed ones, for true and final liberation to come to Tibet, there must be receptivity to the teachings of the Great White Brotherhood. For even the Dalai Lama in his sincerity does make a great karma in this hour by preaching a doctrine of accommodation. <5> Blessed ones, you may pray for his enlightenment and for the binding of the fallen angels who also traduce those who attempt to be our best servants. The awareness of the Evil One, Mara, and the fallen ones who persecuted the Buddha, <6> the awareness even of the forces of Evil that had to be bound by the forces of Light of Sanat Kumara has somehow escaped the focalization of this ones mind.

Blessed ones, understand that the teaching on Evil [and the forces of the Evil One] is apparent in the life of Lord Gautama and [in] prior persecutions [of the great Lights of history East and West]. Yet without the key unlocking the Book of Enoch, <7> unlocking the sacred scriptures [of East and West], some of the finest minds and spiritual devotees in the earth have not come to grips with what is the tremendous teaching of the Divine Mother and the Buddha within this Community of Maitreya.

4. As part of her lecture The Attack of the Sangha of the Buddha delivered prior to the dictation (see 1989 PoW, vol. 32 no. 42, p. 571 note), the Messenger showed excerpts of the following television documentaries and news programs that described the brutalities of the Chinese Communist invasion and occupation of Tibet: Tibet: The Lost Mystery and Tibet: The Bamboo Curtain Falls, The World About Us, BBC, 1982; Forbidden Land, Man Alive, CBC, 1982; NBC Nightly News, 10 March 1989; 20/20, ABC, 19 May 1989.

5. Dalai Lamas doctrine of accommodation. In an interview on ABCs 20/20 television program that was aired May 19, 1989, the Dalai Lama (Tibets exiled spiritual and temporal leader) said that he is always telling Tibetans, especially the younger people who have militant ideas, that the way to change Chinese attitudes and the Chinese mind is through love and kindness. While acknowledging that over one million Tibetans have been killed by the Chinese Communists, the Dalai Lama said: We must follow a strict nonviolent nature....Whether we like it or not, we have to live side by side. So once you develop genuine compassion, forgiveness, then people also equally respond....[A] genuine sense of universal responsibility on the basis of love and kindness is the key factor.

In his pamphlet entitled A Human Approach to World Peace, published in 1984, the Dalai Lama wrote: Anger plays no small role in current conflicts such as those in the Middle East, Southeast Asia, the North-South problem, and so forth. These conflicts arise from a failure to understand one anothers humanness. The answer is not the development and use of greater military force, nor an arms race. Nor is it purely political or purely technological. Basically it is spiritual, in the sense that what is required is a sensitive understanding of our common human situation. Hatred and fighting cannot bring happiness to anyone, even to the winners of battles. Violence always produces misery and thus is essentially counter-productive. It is, therefore, time for world leaders to learn to transcend the differences of race, culture, and ideology and to regard one another through eyes that see the common human situation. To do so would benefit individuals, communities, nations, and the world at large.

6. Maras temptation of Gautama Buddha. 1989 PoW, vol. 32 no. 30, pp. 431-32, 439-42, 443-44.

7. See Forbidden Mysteries of Enoch: The Untold Story of Men and Angels, containing all the Enoch texts, including the Book of Enoch and the Book of the Secrets of Enoch, with exegesis and expos by Elizabeth Clare Prophet investigating the hypothesis that there are fallen angels in embodiment today who are the oppressors of the people.

Condescension is not part of the workings of the great Mother and for my very last sentence on my post about our heads and rears I must appologize to all for that statement. I care very much about the condition of the earth and its people and I get really upset when I see how very much that I and others have been deceived by what we have formerly trusted in. Please forgive.

Now,that is out of the way.

Let me ad a little bit here;

Yes there are forces of evil in the spirit world but most of our problems within the world are because man acts upon those forces. He has control over such ends.

I am not an advocate of "The devil made me do it" or I was tempted beyond my will, or evil forces overpowered me. We have choices.

Evil and sickness were brought upon the earth by mankind and it is man that has the power to remove it.

What the great Mother showed me is not a group of evil spirits but instead a group of depraved people that act upon such evil. I was comforted by the fact that she is an,"It will all come out in the wash" kind of a lady. Blessed Be

Apology accepted, Dave smile

Although I do have to say that I agree with the meaning of your last line in that post. Sometimes as a society we do have to get our heads back to thinking about what really is important. Sometimes our heads are not in the best of places to begin with and we need a wakeup call.

The Great Mother understands your concern. Blessed Be.

When I was young there were times when I felt like I had ears but couldn't hear. It's like communications flowed perfectly most times and then others could speak and I was 1,000 miles away or something. They spoke perfect English or German and yet I missed their meaning or it took me a few seconds longer to comprehend what they said. I probably did the same to others although I cannot say for sure. Maybe someone out there can answer a question about that for me. Do some individuals possess a certain herz or frequency "bubble", so to speak, in which their voice is contained. Then if another is not on that frequency is it more difficult to understand until they get on the same freq? When I was young and talking to a few in my family it was as if nobody else around us could hear what we said even if we were close to them?? Is this spiritual or just a scientific phenomena that can be recreated empirically? I hope that I have made this clearer than mud.

It is much more clear to me, Dave, than mud. This happened to me often as a child and still does. I believe it is because people are not always on the same spiritual level as others. So, I see it as a spiritual flow, or lack thereof.

People hear what they want to hear and if one is speaking on a spiritual level, another may be based totally on the moment in a physical level.

At large family gatherings, I can speak with one other person on spiritual matters and it is like it is just the two of us there, others do not seem to hear or see us.

I am not sure if it is because two people on a spiritual level when communicating are giving off an aura that states private conversation, or if the level they are at is actually unheard by others.

It is rather like a dog whistle, only dogs can hear the whistle -- why is that? It is because dogs are able to hear higher vibration levels than we can. In the spiritual realm, there is a much higher vibration than there is in the physical realm.

When I am at these gatherings, if I feel there is a moment when I must commune with the Mother or the spirit of someone not present is trying to reach me, I do not hear others speaking, whether they are speaking to me or not. I am not deaf, I am just focusing on another realm.

I have often thought about this same issue myself and these are my thoughts on this very interesting subject.
