No, it does not hurt -- it is itchy at times and I often scratch it during my sleep which causes it to bleed. I am fine. I am a bit scared to go back to have it taken off. I mean - it is my nose they will be working on.

I guess we all have our good days and our down days. Today has been a total crying session for me.

Fear of the unknown and great concern over my sister has been with our family since yesterday. She fell at work, hit her head on some glass doors and cracked a vertebrae in her neck. She is lying in the hospital in braces and not doing too good right now. There has been concern of a concussion also. I had to leave suddenly earlier today to ride along with my Mom and brother to go over to see her and be there when the doctors came in to give us results of all the cat scans. She will be alright and the fracture should heal as long as she stays in her brace for 8 - 12 weeks. The whole family has been praying for her. We all will have to make sure that when she is allowed to go home that someone is with her 24/7 for however long it takes for her to heal.

There are several other issues I am finding it difficult to deal with and have been trying to get through it all.

Then when I got home I had a message from a friend I greatly admire and whom I think I might have offended. It would break my heart if I did and if it caused a rift between us.

It is hard for me to let my emotions get the better of me, but they sure did today and this time I just let it happen. I just let go and cried it all out, sobbed it all out and prayed for peace.

I am fortunate that when I broke, another dear friend was there for me and helped me through it all. I thank Creator for friends who stand by me when I need someone.

I am still crying every time I think of all the stuff going through my head, but I feel the strength coming back and I am grateful for friends. What would we do without them?

I decided to write this all down to let others know that it is not good to keep emotions bottled up. I have so often told others that crying is a healing process that cleanses the heart and soul. I allowed myself to go through that process today and it really does help. I can now focus on being there fully for my sister and her family and realize that what I have told others works for me, too.

Sister is home and healing. Many prayers from many family members and friends are helping so much. She will be in her neck brace for at least six months -- they found more fractures in the same vertebrae, so it will take longer to heal than originally thought. She is eating better, can get up for short periods and is in a much better emotional and spiritual state. She is happy to be home with family.

Thank you to all my friends who prayed for her.

Phyllis-
I just now read your post about your sister. I appreciate how candid and open you were in your other post. It's hard when things pile up, it appears you have family to help and friends that care. That's a blessing for sure. I'm getting ready to sign off, and I will say a prayer for you and your sister before I go to sleep. Rann

Thunder Beings are getting ready for action. I can hear rumbling in the distance and lots of thunder clouds building up here.

Oh! well...thanks for reminding me bout that - just getting used to not being afraid of heights and love calling thunder! Preparing for rain dance....moving back from edge of hill over canyon.

I need a t-shirt with a nice logo on it for summoning the storm.
