Just having the theme as 'Sweetest' leads me to guess - Sugar Glider. But why run, when you can fly?

Not this time Jilly Wrong answer. This animal is truly nice, sweet, and gentle in every sense of the word; except for in name.

Beetlemess, not the right answer but the sugar glider is a good guess, they are an exceptionally sweet animal in nature.

The Girl Scout overnight trip to the zoo pays off...the Armadillo.

I evidently came up with a good one this time. While the skunk is one of my favorite pets I have and do think they are sweet as can be, will almost always, they can be a bit obstinate at times and a bit too intelligent for their own good.
