I know that there are many religions and philosophies that advocate non violence. It is a perfect plan if your adversary is of like mind. Observe the situation in Tibet and Syria. If we only wish peace yet the school yard bully keeps bashing our face in day after day we might want to make a slight change in plans. If we believe that there are not people that wish our demise even right within our own country just go to youtube. Yeh, there are a lot of crazy conspiracy theorists out there but within many eccentric theories is a thread of truth.

I am not an advocate of going out and hiding in a remote area with reserves until this all passes. I will confront my adversaries face to face where I am and even though my knees may shake in fear I will face my problems head on.

Spirituality is full of all kinds of pleasantries, gentle flowing plattitudes, and nice peaceful thoughts. If our spirituality takes us to dah dah land instead of reality however then we have no foundation. We are doing fine until we become the target of an attack. People now-days have the ability to walk right past our shield of white light, don't kid yourself.

I know that I would sound like the grim reaper or a total pessimist at least until someone confronts us that wants us dead. There are very real forces out there that wish such a scenerio.

If we as a family had not been shown how to defend ourselves on a spiritual plane none of us would have survived. What makes any of us think that we are so far removed from that possibility today?????

It is because the enlightened elders within my family loved us all that we were encouraged to learn about the importance of spiritual self defense as taught by the great Mother and each other. There is a whole world of such information out there for our benefit. In my family most everyone of the enlightened members were fully armed and found it necessary to be so at times.

Some say,"Violence only breeds more violence!" Those same folks have never had their faces bashed in by the school yard bully day after day. People could ask at this point why we then don't seek the help of the principal or another school official. What if that principal is the one doing the abusing??

I would say that 10 to 15 generations ago all families knew of these arts. We have just become more "civilized" these days and don't need such "crude" methods. We need to get real with the situation today.

Maybe I made my point here, I hope so!

The great Mother is a defender of Her own and will help us to protect ourselves. She is a Mom however and if we wish for her to do all of our battles for us she might just let us get beat up a time or two until we learn from her. That is what an age old mom does if she loves her kid.

Likewise if we take what we have learned and use it for anything other than pure self defence She will retreat and let us reap our own reward for our activities.

Its time that we learn what cultures have learned for thousands of years before us without fear. If we don't we are going to get played by those in the know and understand that they indeed know of these things.

Some of us are already aware of these gifts and for that I am very happy.

Some say that these things are occult activities or that we have no business entering into that world. The corrupt of the world in power want us to believe that very thing. Who is then in control at that point?

I am trying to make this as palatable as possible for a peace loving people but other than to just come right out and say it how else can this be coneveyed?? It is a perfectly acceptable age old method of living with people that have no consideration or care about life in general, let alone our welfare.

All we need to do is open the door.

Our, our kids, and our families survival might just require it one day. This is a different world than what most of us remember. It is however very familiar to me. I sincerely hope that I am helping here.

Change is coming and if we cannot help with World Peace, the best we can do is to make sure we are right and at peace with our own soul and spiritual path.

Change is coming even here in our little place where we feel at peace with each other and ourselves. Evil and negativity will always attempt to destroy by putting wedges between those who come together and share knowledge of peace, wisdom, and truths.

Wherever there is peace and goodness, evil will attempt to destroy. It is a fact. Remain strong and stand strong in your own truths -- for me that is returning to the powers and great love of the Mother.

I do try to live as if the world is the way I wish it were. All I can do is make my own little bit of peace, avoid those who stress me and aggravate my mental illness, and constantly examine who I am and how to help me be content.

Thank you, Phyllis. I seem to be copacetic so far with dan leaving. I am very preoccupied with my garden, setting up my studio the way i want it for me, the new baby kitten that walked into my life, planning camping trips and researching my frugal living experiments. I have not had time to miss dan yet.

And I really do believe that all the loving and comforting thoughts directed at me from all the compassionate people here is truly helping.

I believe you are right, Phyllis. Change is coming and evil is all around us. I too have grown closer to the Great Mother because of it. Like I said before, I feel that evil is just below the surface of what can be seen, ready to come out. It is important for us to be prepared for it and to stick to our own truths and values.
