Hi Debbie. Here in the hills we call that a 'Jam Fest' or 'Ho-Down'. Everyone from the hollow and across the hollow and from the village come and each brings an instrument to play.

I will tune up my banjo, Granpappy will tune up his fiddle, then we will be ready for the foot-stompin' dancin', singin', and apple cider.

All are welcome. Burt is good on the kazoo, maybe he will come by. Beetle is always up for some fun and loves dancin', I think...

I am back, and bringing some homemade hard cider for the grownups.

Spent this entire weekend sorting and cleaning and organizing. I am amazed how much room i have in my studio with just me (and four cats).

Welcome back, Jilly. I am cleaning and organizing my little cottage and am finding I have a lot more room than I thought. My pantry is so neat and organized I cannot find anything in there. I have to rearrange my mind also, I guess.

Has anyone here ever made or tasted Dandelion Wine? My daughters love Dandelions and I thought I could use them in cooking and found a wine recipe. I wondered what it even tasted like or if it was safe to make. It says it takes a lot of Dandelions to make it though.

I'm all for dancing. This will be fun!

Vi, i have done it and it tastes very clean and light, as a wine. my recipe called for adding raisins to the flower heads, and it was a super easy experience.

Hmmm. I seem to be bringing a big birthday cake to the front porch today! It's chocolate inside with cream cheese frosting. The inside layer is a raspberry filling.
