When movies are made after you read the book, do you like to watch the movie? Does it ruin a book or movie for you when the movie doesn't follow the book, or the characters don't seem the way you imagined? Which movies do you think either followed a book extremely well, or the opposite?

I am tutoring a group of elementary-aged students who had a disagreement this week over whether they preferred the Harry Potter books or movies. It was a 50-50 split!
