I love reading the front porcher's posts. You all write such lovely things and share deep thoughts. This is wonderful. smile

Cassie, we do walk our own paths -- something we all must do. Yet we are never alone. We have each other and we have the Mother, God, and our own spiritual guides to walk with us.

Your beloved left you a strong legacy that you can find love and support from. I know what you mean about being with your love again in the spiritual realm. This is what keeps me going strong, the knowledge that my true love and I will reunite some day in the spiritual realm.

Gemineye is right in that we need to reunite with our own spiritual self and it seems you are doing that. It is such a gift to see dear friends finding their truths, strengths, and path in life. Thank you, Gemineye, for sharing your wisdom with us.

Burt, what you write about the Mother is so endearing and thought provoking. There are some mighty deep thoughts within you and I am so glad you share them with us.

Gemineye, so Burt has been sitting in the kitchen with honey and you have been on the back porch with chocolate. Well...this is just fine if you guys do not want to share. I am going up on the top porch and have some truffles all by myself. Truffles and hot, strong coffee -- now that is a real treat!

Burt is a bear? Anna used to call him a Billy Goat.

I wonder where Anna has taken herself to? We should go visit her in the Russian Culture forum. Maybe she has pictures of her cute little goats.

Walking my path is done alone in the sense that I have to search inside myself for the direction I need to go in that will work for me, and nobody else can decide this for me. Others can stand by and offer support, but in the end it is up to the individual to find their own truth. Sometimes when deep in thought, it does feel like I am truly alone when looking for answers.

I think I am coming up to the top porch and joining you Phyllis. I will bring some tea and my favorite truffles......Lindt milk chocolate with creamy peanut butter centers. You are welcome to some, Phyllis. I don't mind sharing! My Mother always taught us that sharing makes anything taste better.....

Human love is a foretaste of divine love, yet we each must walk through the fiery trial in our own way through the pleasure and the pain in order to be prepared for the Tao of divine love.

Yet, all will make that mark eventually.

Therein lies the hope of the ages.

Life is too short is really not that accurate.

Life is eternal here and now -- we just live through segments of eternity.

We suffer attack through one agent and one agent alone:

Jealousy.

And, I'm not talking about the run-of-the-mill passionate jealousy.

I'm talking about the jealousy that caused Cain to slay Abel in the first recorded murder.

Really now, is God that willy-nilly and unfair ?

No.

It didn't matter which job each brother had -- the heart was weighed by God and he found that Abel gave the best of the best to God whereas Cain just gave some throw-away scraps.

Human pain, human sorrow and human joys will be put down and in their place Divine Understand of the promise fulfilled of every tear wiped away.

Human goodness is exactly as bad as human badness or evil.

Same coin, different side.

God is only Good -- not human good, divine good.

Learn to forgive yourself, you're just divine after all.

Cassie67 you must ride the rapids in your own way.

After losing my mother in 2003 and Uncle in 2003 and Father in 2009 you will bask in the glow of his love after a time for he is always a part of you and forever shall be.

No Love is lost... none. not ever.

It brings to mind one of my favorite films " Somewhere in Time ".

For as the male, I went through the disheveled part and still am in it.

As Gemineye can relate also, I'm sure.

Yet time is not.

Yeah, I know that is abrasive to the outer mind but time is not.

I'm going upstairs with some real marshmallows on real sticks !

Got the pit fire going Phyllis ?

We all can share, but I like to cook my own to see if I can get that golden brown shell that can be taken off to reveal the soft and gooey center.

hey cassie,
i m going to say this not because i want to but because i m asked to,which is totally different.
we all meet people on our path that give us a hard time and we veer off course cause we have something to learn and we meet certain people that help us put us on course again.each relationship has a key, once you find the key to the relationship it becomes realised and we then don t need that relationship anymore cause we outgrow it and change.
some people make us suffer and then others come along and make us understand we don t don t need to.
in the end what these people do is like hold up a mirror up to our face so we understand who we really are.
all that is needed is ourselves and to reunite with ourselves makes the feeling of loneliness disappear.
once one walked through the dark night, oneunderstands that there is something much better waiting and thatit allwas just a preparation for that moment.
hey burt,the pit fire going?where are you,in hell?hahhahaha.
i like truffles with tea phyllis.
one thing that is sure isthat as long as there is grief,it means it is not over.
old songs, cover song by woods of infinity

Ok - I will share my truffles with all. I made a large batch, so there is enough to go around. I will trade you, Cassie -- some chocolate centers for some peanut butter centers.

The fire pit has a good fire in it. I am going to roast a hot dog or two.

Tea sounds good. I am up very late and will be up another few hours to work on some articles. So, the tea will help keep me awake. Strong, black tea! I ran out of coffee. frown

For those lucky ones who are sleeping now:

Sleep, my child, and peace attend thee,
All through the night.
Guardian Angels God will send thee,
All Through the night.

I just started a new tea for me....vanilla chai, originating from India. It is black tea with vanilla and spices, served with a little milk and sugar. I am liking it, and it smells even more divine than it tastes. I could almost roll in it!

Gemineye........I know what you mean about types of relationships and purposes they serve. My marriage started out wonderful but turned into a bad relationship. The relationship with my boyfriend afterwards was a good relationship, setting me back on course and showing me that I can have a better life and I don't have to suffer. I found healing, peace, joy, and love with him. Simple things became fun. There was something positive in just about everything. I learned so much from this relationship, and these lessons will serve me well going forward.

Even though he left the physical realm I have so much good to take with me as I transition into a new chapter of my life. I now have an even greater opportunity to find my own peace within. Love never dies, and I will feel his love around me for as long as I live, and I will try to follow his example of positivity, kindness, and love. He loved absolutely everyone.
