Good morning, a lovely good morning to all folks. It is really cold out this morning. I started out for a walk and changed my mind -- I will wait till it warms up a bit before I attempt it again.

It was a chilly morning here too in the Northeast. It has warmed up a bit, but it is breezy. I will be walking later with my dogs.

Anyone care for a nightcap on the front porch later?

Right now I am thinking iced tea would taste good. I like mine strong -- with no sweetening, just ice. I cannot get a good iced tea in restaurants, it is always so weak.

I took a long walk after the sun came up over the mountain and it was quite pleasant out.

I like a little sugar and lots of lemon.

It warmed up enough for a nice walk early this evening. Some of the flowering trees are blooming and the daffodils are up. I saw a pair of doves sitting quietly in the grass. I called them the "little lovers". I am sure that nesting is on their minds!

Loong.....gosh, no! You are not too late for tea. I am always ready for a good cup of tea, so let's share some with whomever else wants to join us here. I saved that nice big piece of cake for you, too!

You are never too late for tea, Loong. The tea pot on the Front Porch is never empty. It is like an everlasting symbol of welcome and friendship.
