I've been a film critic for various outlets more a couple of decades at this point and I have decided there is a certain type of action I do not like. Ultraviolent and without reason i.e. war.

I prefer comedy, romantic, and superhero action over "pulling off body parts of a live person" etc.

Any thoughts?

I agree. I really don't like the war movies. Like you, I like action mixed in with romance and comedy.
