Peter Paul and Mary made that one easy. Lots of good sales after Easter. My daughter and her husband had colored eggs with the children. I hadn't realized that so George and I thought we should colors some eggs for them. This was very late Saturday night. The kids have had Easter egg hunts but with plastic eggs with prizes and candy inside. So we hid the real eggs along with the plastic ones. Never thought about it, they found the real eggs and plastic eggs. They shook the real eggs and said they are empty and tossed it in their baskets! Break crack. Had to teach them what real eggs were.

Diana, what a cute story about real eggs and the children. I could imagine the looks on their faces when the eggs did not rattle as they shook them.

It was fun, the only problem with the story is, it is missing one word, the kids had never colored Easter eggs. A few times lately I have noticed a word missing or a ed or ing... I know, the peeps took it! or else I've lost my mind, just the ed or ing part of it. I am going to go curl up with a good book. Good night

Beetle, will the peeples be back for the next holiday? I would be sad if they disappeared for a whole year. After the clearance sales are they just gone till next Easter. Say it isn't so...

Peeps put nerd glasses on and pocket protectors and make language dictionaries the rest of the year. Peep-protection -in confection form. My book is wonderful.
