Notes Bokuwa is appearently what males should say Watashi is for woman and children and since I'm male.

How are you is actually considered quite rude among some people so if your ever over thier use it with caution.

it's "Bokuno namae wa ___ desu"

u dont say "o" before namae, u can only say it iff (iff = if an only if) ur the one who's asking the question (Anatano o namae wa nan desu ka.)... and it's not "boku wa" its bokuno (no = possesive particle)...

and, u can say either watashi or boku if ur a guy, actually, boku is more rude than watashi...

and, it is not rude if ur askin, someone "how are you"... i have a lot of japanese friends who are exchange students from japan and they have never heard of askin someone how fine they are is being rude, actually they like being asked...

oh yeah, im taking it at skul, coz online is worthless coz u dont hear how they pronounce the words like saying "desu" that is actually pronounced as "des" and it is also pointless if ur learning nihongo if u dont have someone to talk to...
