This is actually one of my favorite cards. It's not without its challenges, but it speaks of rebirth and transformation. This week I focused on the Death card, some misconceptions around it, and its true meaning and purpose when it shows up in a spread.

Meaning of the Death Card

So what are your thoughts on this card?

Christin, I really enjoyed this article. You have taken such a positive look at change.

I am facing radical changes in my life, and so this is especially relevant for me.

Dear Christin,

Really loved your explanation of the death card.In buddhism a great place is given to death and re-birth called Samsara.
In chinese mythologie the Dragon is a sign of major transformation and strength. My name loong is chinese for Dragon.

Thank you for such an inspiring article.

Thank you Connie for taking time to comment - I'm glad you enjoyed the article and that you found it relevant.

Loong - Thank you for sharing more background from the Buddhist perspective and for taking time to comment. I remember dreaming of dragons a couple of times at a point in my life when I was going through a couple of major changes all at once - so I find it very interesting that you mentioned that. smile
