To all.
In the last few months 16 monks set themselves on fire to protest the treatment of the Tibetan people."Save Tibet" even have a video of a monk on fire being beaten by chinese soldiers.

The first Precept Mentions: that no one shall kill, wether humans ,sentient beings, and ONESELF.The person/s that help in the killing shall also carry the karma attached to taking a life as the slaughterer also for each killing.
Those also who participate in the selling of meats shall carry a karma.

What is about to follow is my opinion only.

The monks that sacrifice their entrance to nirvana by setting themselves on fire, are ,again I repeat myself ,this is my opinion, are making the greatest act of loving kindness doable for their people. Can such an act of love carry the same karma?

I leave this to you to decide.

With the outmost compassion for those who have died.

To all,

In my case ,I have decided that the karma of those sacrificed ,
will not carry a great karma. Why might you ask?

Can the outmost act of love bring anything else than love.
Everyone knows the story of planting a seed ,and what will come out of the ground is what was planted.

I repeat,I do not engage the Buddhist movemet is my writing.
I too shall carry a karma if a karma has to be carried.

With The outmost Compassion for these 16 monks

Loong ,happy to be one.

Hi looong, this is such a difficult question, and I don't pretend to know the answer, but I understand where you are coming from, and love your statement "Can the utmost act of love bring anything else than love."
