Saturn's biggest Moon Titan was discovered 357 years ago today (March 25, 1655) by Dutch mathematician, astronomer and physicist Christiaan Huygens. When the Cassini mission was launched in 1997, headed for Saturn, it included a lander. The lander was for Titan and it was named Huygens for the discover of the moon. You can see the pictures
taken by Huygens. It was quite an accomplishment to send the probe so many millions of miles to land on an alien world.
