I literally gained 7 pounds this past week from spending time with my son and mom. Scary! It wasn't even like we were snarfing chocolate cake either. We were just eating chicken nuggets, plates of pasta, and other breaded / starchy things.

Seven pounds.

Time to get it back off.

I did 2 hours of dancing today, and reached 10,000 sweat points in that one session! Hurrah! A new high. Let's see what my weight looks like tomorrow!

Well done Lisa! Just don't go too mad on the exercise and do yourself a mischief- how's the hand by the way?

Interesting. That's how most people gain weight on a cruise - about a pound a day.

it must be the bready things.

I think on the cruise it's also the heavy consumption of alcohol that does it - alcohol is high powered liquid calories. When I've been on cruises people are drinking non-stop.

Ian - my hand gets routinely whapped while doing my Wii dancing - I just hit it yesterday again So that's just a normal thing I have to accept with the game

On the 20th I'd lost 0.4 pounds, and today I'd lost another 1 pound!! Woo hoo!! This dancing really does the trick. Plus healthy eating of course, and no alcohol. Let's see, if I keep this up solidly for a week, if I can drop the 7 pounds I gained. I had been *almost* 129 when this whole fiasco began, so I want to get back there again. I was so close!

Yup I am ok with getting bruises It would be hard for me to sword fight without that mentality!

I hit a new high with Just Dance 3 today - 13,000 sweat points which equaled 820 calories burned.

OK I'm now at the 9 day mark from when I had gained the 7 pounds in a week. I'm back down to 132.8 - so I've lost just shy of 5 pounds.

If I was able to gain 7 pounds in a week, shouldn't I be able to lose 7 pounds in a week? What's up with this losing only 5 pounds in 9 days?

In terms of a week ago - which would have been 3/22 - I have lost 3 pounds since then. So I'm on a 3 pounds per week track. So I should be under 130 in another week. We'll see!
